MBA-CAT





CAT - entrance exam for MBA


CAT is an entrance exam for getting into Iims (top business schools in India).Many other famous business schools also accepting cat score like central universities. The competition level for this exam is quite high comparing with many other entrance exams like GATE, GRE, GMAT, TOFEL etc.It is difficult to get a seat in Indian Business schools than foreign Business Schools. But in India the common age of a MBA graduates in 21to24 unlike 28 to 30 in foreign .In foreign it is difficult to get a seat in good Business school without work experience .Where as in India it is quite possible but we have to score more percentile.

Now the exam become computer based exam (not computer adaptive exam).It contains three sections
1.) Quantitative Ability (It contains all basic math’s like algebra, ratio proportion , geometry, trigonometry etc.)
2.) Data Interpretation (It contains pie charts, bar graphs, analysis of data, data sufficiency etc.)
3.) Verbal Ability (It contains questions based on grammar, Reading comprehension, vocabulary)
